This was excellent! I read it in one day because I couldn’t put it down. It offers a very insightful look into Jim Bob’s side of the family (which is also Amy’s family) and the recurring patterns within it. The book builds on what’s already been revealed, especially in Jill’s book, by adding deeper background information into the family as a whole and a fresh perspective from someone who sometimes viewed things from the outside looking in and at other times was just as immersed in all of it as the 19 kids. Overall, it’s a unique and much-needed insight into both Amy’s story and the larger Duggar family story.
